Georgii surges ahead in Championship

Following consistent results in the earlier rounds, Georgii took the lead in the Championship standings with a strong win in Round 8, and then extended the advantage with a dominant pole-to-finish victory in Round 9. Baba again challenged, and cemented second position in the Championship with another second placing in Round 9. Tatyana's challenge faltered in Round 9, whilst Chimp's run of bad luck continued. Deda raced consistently to be challenging Tatyana for third position on the points ladder.

The season is drawing to an exciting conclusion, with only a few rounds to go. Georgii now ranks as favourite to take the title, but the strong challenge from Baba could create a surprise.
